Reinforced Concrete Cylinder Pipe (AWWA C300)

Prior to the early 1940s and the introduction of C301, Reinforced Concrete Cylinder Pipe (RCCP) was the most commonly used Concrete Pressure Pipe in the United States and Canada
RCCP (C300) is manufactured in accordance with the AWWA C300 Standard and is designed in accordance with the AWWA Manual M9. C300 pipe is manufactured using a welded steel cylinder welded to steel joint rings and mild steel reinforcing cage(s). The steel cylinder and cage assembly is encased in cement rich concrete using a vertical cast process. The concrete encasement creates a passivating alkaline environment that protects the steel components from corrosion for the life of the product.
Size: In diameters from 900mm to 3600mm with standard lengths of 4.877m or 6.096m (depending on diameter)

ASSOCIATIONS
Forterra Pipe & Precast are proud members of the American Concrete Pipe Association (ACPPA). Founded in 1949, the American Concrete Pressure Pipe Association (ACPPA) is a nonprofit trade association representing manufacturers of concrete pressure pipe around the world. ACPPA sponsors research projects and conducts educational programs to promote and advance the use of concrete pressure pipe in water and wastewater applications.
ACPPA manages an independent audit program to certify compliance with all applicable AWWA standards for the design and manufacture of concrete pressure pipe. The ACPPA Compliance Audit and Certification Program, administered by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), is much more than an observation of the final product.
